Vince Gilligan has shown us that he can cast amazing talent on Breaking Bad, and now we’ll get to see what skills he’s picked up from these actors on an upcoming episode of Community.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Vince will be playing a “smooth-talking gold digger who winds up exacerbating a fight between Annie (Alison Brie) and Abed (Danny Pudi)”. The episode will be filming this week, and is set to air in the middle of the season (so either “late winter or early spring”).
Vince isn’t the only Breaking Bad alumni who will be appearing on the fifth season of the popular NBC series. Jonathan Banks will appear in an 11-episode arc as the criminology professor. Despite the differences in their characters, let’s hope they’ll at least share a scene together!
Giancarlo Esposito, another Breaking Bad cast member, appeared as Pierce Hawthorne’s (Chevy Chase) half-brother in season’s 3 and 4.
Vince is another addition to a long list of highly-anticipated guest stars for the fifth season of Community. Also slated to guest star include Mitchell Hurwitz, Ben Folds, and Nathan Fillion. The fifth season of Community will begin on January 2, 2014.
