Sad news for Morristan shippers today as it’s been reported that Once Upon A Time’s Jennifer Morrison and Sebastian Stan have ended their offscreen romance.
Fans first caught a glimpse of their chemistry last year on the hit ABC show, Once Upon A Time, when Morrison’s Emma Swan was held captive for several hours by Stan’s troubled yet captivating Mad Hatter, Jefferson.
After meeting on set, the two soon became a couple, beloved by a loyal troupe of OUAT fans who dubbed them Morristan. Just this week, though, Us Weekly has announced they possess confirmation from a mutual friend of the couple that Morrison and Stan in fact split up over three months ago.
Their low-key separation alludes to a certain level of amicability, so we feel there’s hope yet that we’ll see Emma and Jefferson appear at some point together again on the fairy-tale-inspired show.
Once Upon a Time does seem to wield a magic wand when it comes to love, with fellow co-stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (who also met on-set) recently announcing their engagement.
