Ben Affleck Apparently Looks Wonderful As Batman

No real surprise there though, right?

Kevin Smith, who directed Ben Affleck in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma, had a sneak peek at Affleck’s superhero costume for the next Superman movie. And apparently it was amazing.

“You have not seen this costume on film before – for a comic book fan it was mind-bending,”

Zack Snyder, who will be directing the movie rumored to be called Superman vs Batman, showed Smith a picture of Aflleck’s outfit. Smith said he “went glassy-eyed and weak in the knees.”

One thing that seemed to be important to Smith is that it departed from previous incarnations of the outfit. “There wasn’t a single nipple on this suit. It was fantastic… It blew my mind. I think you’ll be happy, everyone will be like, ‘Holy s**t’. It’s its own thing, we haven’t been down this path before.”

I certainly look forward to seeing it if the suit gets this much hype! And, if you had a problem with Affleck playing Batman, maybe the suit will make it up to you. Let’s hope so!
