Paramount Television Is Looking To Turn Ghost Into TV Series

Paramount Television is teaming with Fringe producers/writers Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinker to develop a TV pilot based on the 1990 film, Ghost.

Both Goldsman and Pinker are no strangers to the world of sci-fi with Goldsman having worked on I Am Legend and Paranormal Activity, with Pinker writing for Lost, and Alias.

In the film, Sam (Patrick Swayze) stars a murdered man who tracks his killers from beyond the grave, while keeping his girlfriend Molly (Demi Moore) safe with the help of medium Oda Mae Brown (Whoppi Goldberg)

No television network is currently attached to the project.
