HBO have released the first official trailer for the upcoming gay-themed dramedy Looking.
The official release comes days after a 20 second teaser hit the Internet. The dialogue-less video has the appearance of an opening title sequence, and is set to the song “Take a Look Around” by The 2 Bears.

The series is being called a “sexually focused new comedy about three gay friends finding love in a modern-day San Francisco.” Starring Jonathan Groff as 29 year old video game designer, Patrick, Frankie J. Alvarez, an aspiring artist named Agustin and Murray Bartlett as long time waiter, Dom. Their stories intertwine as they search for happiness and intimacy in an age of unparalleled choices – and rights – for gay men.
The new trailer shows Patrick questioning why it’s so wrong for young people to have “A life outside of work.” His answer breathes new life into the age old debate of Northern California vs. Southern California. “This is San Francisco; that’s why I live here. If I didn’t want a life, I’d move to L.A.”
