The first look trailer for the new police drama Chicago PD has been released on NBC’s website.
Chicago PD is the spin-off to NBC’s highly successful Chicago Fire which set up an in-episode pilot for the new show during their series finale.
Created by Dick Wolf (Law & Order) the new series stars Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill), Jon Seda (Treme), Jason Beghe (Californication) and Jesse Lee Soffer (The Mob Doctor).
Fans of Dick Wolf’s productions can expect to see a cross over with Wolf’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, when Fin and Rollins track down a rapist who may have fled from New York to Chicago.
Chicago PD premieres on NBC, Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
