Asa Butterfield is in talks for a role in the upcoming comedy King of the Kastle. According to The Wrap, the 16-year old might be cast as a blackmailing teenager alongside Clive Owen and Jacki Weaver.
Probably best known for his lead roles in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and, more recently, Ender’s Game; Butterfield has created quite a rapport, which prompted debuting directors Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka to approach him.
Right now, all that is known about the film is that Clive Owen will play the role of a womaniser who gets blackmailed by a young teenager, likely to be played by Butterfield.
The teenager’s most recent work, Ender’s Game, was released in the US on the first of November, and is still in theatres now!
