Chris Hardwick’s @midnight series has been picked up for a full season
The show, focusing on pop culture and media, has become one of the most-watched shows among 18-34 and adults 18-24, among all late night shows, according to The Wrap. It is also “the most popular late-night show on Twitter”, as said on The Nerdist website. That fact isn’t too surprising, since one of its main focuses is on social media.
Hardwick announced on November 15 (Thursday) that the series is returning January 6 for a 40-week run.
Chris told viewers, “This was an experiment we did for a month, you guys watch, you join the [game] #HashtagWars, and we are so, so, so, so grateful.”
If @midnight isn’t enough for you, Hardwick is also the host of The Walking Dead’s wrap up show, Talking Dead on AMC. His other show, The Nerdist, airs on BBC America.
As for @midnight, you can catch it weeknights on Comedy Central at 12a.m. ET.
