Adam Driver Squashes ‘Batman vs. Superman’ Rumors

It looks like Girls’ Adam Driver won’t be in Batman vs Superman after all. The actor best known from his role on HBO’s Girls was rumored earlier this year to play Dick Grayson/ Nightwing (previously Robin) in the film, reports Digital Spy.

Driver said to Collider about the rumors, “No. Not that I know of, no. No. If you find out, let me know and then I’ll know.” Still, the actor said that it’s extremely flattering to be linked to highly anticipated film.

“I mean, it’s Batman and Superman, who doesn’t want to be involved in something that’s not only of that scale but of who those characters are. That’s an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn’t want to do that?” Drive said.

Batman vs Superman, directed by Zack Snyder, will star Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman. The Man of Steel sequel is slated to hit theatres in 2015.
