Have you ever wondered what would happen if Bryan Cranston’s most famous television personalities met? The goofy and affable Hal Wilkerson head-to-head with the intense and sometimes terrifying Walter White? I mean, truly; the possibilities are endless!
I missed the original Breaking Bad bandwagon, and have been trying to get caught up for a few weeks now. Since I am, you know, alive, I love it. But it took me, probably all the way through the first season, to wrap my head around the fact that Hal was this notorious drug-dealer. Apparently, I was not alone.
In a recently released clip, an alternate ending to Breaking Bad’s finale was presented. The video starts with Walter White in the middle of a desert standoff, being his typical badass self. In the next moment, we see him squirming and squealing in bed, next to Jane Kaczmarek, his fictional wife on Malcolm In the Middle.
He explains that, he had just awoken from a terrible nightmare, in which he was a meth-dealer. As he goes onto explain, Lois (Kaczmarek) is clearly amused. Hal explains a scary guy that never speaks, only rings a bell; and a bald cop or DEA agent that he thinks was his brother and looks like the guy from The Shield.
The best description, though, is given to Aaron Paul’s character, Jesse. “And then there was this other little guy, he was a waif, a man child; a kid who always looked like he was wearing his older brother’s clothes. And he would always say things like ‘Hey bit…’ the B word. He used the B word a lot. He would say ‘Yo B word, yaay Science B words.”
“The only thing that made sense in the whole dream was that I still walked around in my underwear.” Lois tells him to lock it up to drive the kids to school, and Hal tells her that he hadn’t told her the worst part yet. He then goes onto confess that in the dream he made bombs and killed people, through some ridiculously hilarious whimpering.
Honestly, it’s brilliant. But enough of my yammering; check out the video for yourself!
