If you’ve followed Kelly Clarkson news beyond her music career, you know that the American Idol and singing star is expecting her first child with husband, Brandon Blackstock! Clarkson, who takes care of her Husband’s two children from a previous relationship, has said, “I really dig the mom thing.”
That’s good to hear! The singer shared her news with the public last Tuesday, sources say, and she and her family could not be happier!
Clarkson tweeted the happy news to all of her fans: “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever.”
But even the stars need time to break their news! Clarkson dropped some hints during her spot on the Jay Leno show, but nothing was confirmed. The star did say, “Practice makes perfect! We’re trying, trying, trying…like rabbits!”
Well, we’re happy for you both! Blackstock and Clarkson announced their engagement last December, and while they originally intended to have an earthy outdoor ceremony, the pair decided on an intimate gathering in Tennessee.
When she tweeted her amazing news, Clarkson also added that Blackstock was “the greatest man ever.”
