Is there a clear winner in the battle between Xbox One and PlayStation 4 fans yet?

Shortly after yesterday’s big launch, the Xbox One has already received reports of a faulty disc drive issue. That’s not all, though. Other concerns include controllers not working, hard drives making odd clicking sounds, headsets transmitting static, and constant crashing and looping with the system.

According to IGN, Microsoft provided an updated statement in response to these problems:

“The issue is affecting a very small number of Xbox One customers. We’re working directly with those affected to get a replacement console to them as soon as possible through our advance exchange program. Rest assured, we are taking care of our customers.”

Don’t get too excited yet, PS4 fans; it seems as though the PlayStation 4 had its own fair share of problems last week during the official launch day as well. However, Sony had addressed concerns quickly, stating that the problems had only affected less than 1% of their customers.

Whether you own a PS4 or Xbox One, it’s quite common for issues, like these, to arise during and after launch day. Diablo III, Final Fantasy XIV, and Grand Theft Auto V (Online) all had major server issues during beta and even after launching.

If you’re currently an Xbox One owner and you’re experiencing any sort of problems, Xbox encourages users to contact their support team. You can check out their support page or contact them via Twitter.
