The sequel to this past summer’s hit Man of Steel is currently in production and in 2015 we’ll be seeing Superman and Batman duke it out on the big screen. The DC film has yet to have an official title, but most fans are referring to the sequel as Batman vs. Superman.

That title is simple and straight to the point, but according to Fusible, Warner Bros. registered a few domain names that could potentially be the title of the film. What are some of the possibilities you ask? Most of the possibilities will contain the Man of Steel in the title with variations of the dark knight. Man of Steel Battle the Knight, Man of Steel Beyond Darkness, Man of Steel Darkness Falls, Man of Steel Knight Falls, and Man of Steel The Darkness Within are all potential titles.

While long domain names were privately registered, shorter domain names were also taken. The sequel could have some standalone titles including, Battle the Night, Beyond Darkness, Black of Night, Darkness Falls and Knight Falls.

Now in case you missed the casting news, Ben Affleck will taking on the role as the dark knight. There has been a lot of controversy and differing opinions surrounding the Argo star as Batman. However, the show must go on and we’ll be seeing Affleck in the iconic black suit against Henry Cavill’s Superman.  Wonder Woman might even make an appearance in the sequel, but nothing is confirmed yet.

There’s still a lot of filming and casting to be done on this sequel and the news of a potential title is definitely getting fans ready for the release in summer of 2015.

For now we’ll just refer to it as Batman vs. Superman. What do you think the film should be titled?
