Prince William Proves He’s The Prince Of Pop

He plays a mean bit of polo and can fly a helicopter in the roughest of weather but who knew that Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, had such a set of pipes on him?

Famously known for belting out the Bon Jovi classic, “Livin’ On A Prayer” at his cousin Zara Phillips’ wedding, last night (26 November), the took to the stage and stunned guests as he rocked out with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift.

The princely performance was part of the Winter Whites Gala, an annual fundraiser for William’s charity, Centrepoint, which assists young homeless people with housing, learning, health and life skills. The event was held at William’s home, Kensington Palace, though the Duchess of Cambridge was not in attendance.

Speaking about the event, Bon Jovi told Sky News, “This is a great event and everyone’s so pleased to be here for a cause that really matters”. Bon Jovi, who established the JBJ Soul Foundation in the US, spoke of the “similar goals” of each organisation. He was honoured with one of Prince William’s awards during the event, of which he was “very proud of”.
