Little monsters rejoice as Universal Music Group Japan (Lady Gaga’s Japanese record label) constructed a life-size doll of the popstar, called GAGADOLL.
This innovative and interactive doll is a lifelike copy of the pop queen that allows people to listen to the ARTPOP playlist when one places their head against the doll’s heart. Little monsters can line up, listen to ARTPOP, and even take a photo with the replica Lady Gaga.
Earlier this month, technicians released a teaser video of the doll. The doll is currently still under production. It is not clear whether this doll will be available worldwide or just used as a promotional device in Japan.
With the somewhat disappointing sales of ARTPOP, GAGADOLL could possibly be the key to boosting sales while warming the hearts of Gaga’s little monsters.
