Good news for Breaking Bad fans mourning the end of the series! Bob Odenkirk has dropped some hints on the upcoming Breaking Bad spinoff.

The spinoff, Better Call Saul, will focus on the life of Walter White’s lawyer, Saul Goodman, with Odenkirk reprising his role. The series is to premiere on AMC next year.

So will it take place before or after the events of Breaking Bad?

“Maybe it’s prequel? Maybe it’s sequel? Maybe it’s both? They’re talking about mixing it up,” Odenkirk told Access Hollywood. “You may see a little of before [Breaking Bad], and a little of after.”

“I don’t think you can keep Breaking Bad going. It ended. And it was great. And it was what it was. This is going to be something new,” he said.

Bryan Cranston was also in attendance at the Breaking Bad Blu-ray and Digital release party and also spoke to Access Hollywood about the spinoff and how he would be willing to appear in Better Call Saul.

“I would definitely do an appearance on the show…if it made sense, sure, absolutely.”
