Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Crowned Spotify’s Most Streamed Artists of 2013

As we enter the last few weeks of 2013, the traditional “Best of” and “Most Popular” lists start to emerge. One of the first to be released is Spotify’s list of the most popular artists, tracks and albums streamed in 2013.

The artists known as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have officially been revealed to be the top streaming artists on Spotify in 2013. Their song “Can’t Hold Us Down” was the most popular song on Spotify all over the world and their debut LP The Heist was in fact the most streamed album on the music streaming service. “Wake Me Up” by Avicii was the second most popular song to be streamed all over the world.

On April 20th, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” got the most streams in a single day, making it the fourth most popular song on Spotify.
