Hold onto your hats for this one, Cumber Collective. Cherished actor Benedict Cumberbatch made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that fans won’t forget.

Just before going into his interview, Jimmy Kimmel prepared a segment where lyrics to R. Kelly’s new single “Genius” would be read by a guest. That guest reader: Benedict Cumberbatch. He appeared onstage with lights dimmed and the spotlight on him to recite blush-worthy lyrics that R. Kelly is known for writing.

With his unique sexy appeal, Cumberbatch recited Kelly’s suggestive lyrics such as “I can’t wait to turn you on,” and “I’ll be good to you while making love.” The killer closer came when he wrapped the reading with a seductive wink straight into the camera saying “Go to sleep, and when we wake up, imma hit that thing again. Promise,” making the audience roar with a mixture of laughter and embarrassment.

After his sultry read-along, Kimmel interviewed Cumberbatch asking him about his life as an actor so far and his upcoming movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
