300: Rise of an Empire, directed by Noam Murro, has released a new trailer.
The trailer, released Wednesday, begins with scenes of violence and destruction on the water, with a voice-over from Lena Headey’s Queen Gorgo before focusing on her arch rival Artemisia, played by Eva Green.

This film follows in the wake of Frank Miller’s 300. Themistokles, played by Sullivan Stapleton, must lead an assault by sea to defeat the Persian army. Rodrigo Santoro will reprise his role as Xerxes in the film.
300: Rise of an Empire is slated to hit theaters March 7, 2014.
