It was the night before Christmas and all through the Twitterverse, Justin Bieber caused a stir amongst Beliebers and non-Beliebers. After 5 years of ups and downs in the industry, the 19-year-old announced his official retirement from the music business: “My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring”.
My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring

The Canadian pop star had been talking about a possible retirement for weeks, but his management has claimed that it simply isn’t happening. At the premiere of Bieber’s film Believe, his manager Scooter Braun insisted that it was just a joke and 2014 will be a time to relax and take a break.
More of Bieber’s management team have started speaking out about the possible retirement and insist it’s not true at all. According to Speakeasy, Scott Manson, COO of Scooter Braun Projects, said that JB is “100%” not retiring and plans to be back in the studio next year.
Allison Kaye, GM of Scooter Braun Projects, defended the young superstar, insisting that Bieber just wanted to shift the media’s attention from his possible retirement and other wild media reports to his charitable work.
“Justin is a hard working 19 year old who would prefer that his recent fundraising work in the Philippines and the considerable amount raised for the cause be the media’s focus more than the recent reporting on him ring,” Kaye said in a statement regarding the tweet heard around the world. “He chose to channel his frustration into playing along with this baseless rumor and even used “beloved” to tip off his core fans that it wasn’t real.”
With the recent release of his movie and album Journals, it’s hard to believe that the Biebs is retiring any time soon. But whether or not he’s retiring, he made one thing clear: he’ll never leave his beloved Beliebers behind. “I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.”
