There will be no more Home Improvement.
With shows like Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, Futurama and Doctor Who all getting their own revivals, there is always a chance that your favorite show of old might get a reboot. Unfortunately for Home Improvement fans, there is no hope.
Home Improvement star Patricia Richardson told TMZ that there would “never” be a reunion episode. Richardson played Jill Taylor, the long suffering wife of Tim Allen’s character Tim, in the hit comedy series about a handyman and his wife raising their three sons, with the help of their next door neighbor, Wilson.
“Never, no,” Richardson told TMZ. “Earl [Hindman] died. We can’t have one without Earl.”
Earl Hindman, who played the partially obscured neighbor Wilson, died in 2003.
It seems as though the closest fans will get to a reunion was when Tim Allen and Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who played Tim’s son Randy, were reunited on an episode last year of ABC’s Last Man Standing.
Home Improvement aired from 1991 to 1999.
