ABC is ringing in 2014 with limitations. Beginning January 6th, ABC will restrict next-day new episode access of its TV shows from the companies website, paid-television affiliates, and Hulu Plus. In the past, new episodes of ABC’s shows has been free to stream on its site but under its new terms, only paying television subscribers will be allowed access to next-day content.

However according to Variety, not all cable providers were created equal and some, like DirecTV, Dish Network, and Time Warner Cable will not be a part of this deal.
