Last year he famously said “I do!” to onscreen love Bryan Collins (Andrew Rannells) on NBC’s now-defunct comedy The New Normal. That was obviously a warm up for this past weekend when Justin Bartha married his girlfriend Lia Smith.
Bartha, who also starred as Doug Billings in The Hangover trilogy, wed Smith on Saturday evening (January 4) at the Kualoa ranch on the Hawaiian island of O’ahu, reports E! News. Smith, a personal trainer, is originally from Hawaii and the two were first publicly spotted there New Year’s Day a year ago.
The wedding, which was held in the lagoon at the ranch with the reception following in the valley, was small and intimate with no more than 20 people in attendance, according at a source for E! News. Among those lucky enough to share their big day was actress Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth.
Though there was no official confirmation from either Bartha or Smith, it is believed they got engaged last May while holidaying in Big Sur, California as not long afterwards Smith was spotted wearing an engagement ring.
