Attention all males: Hermione Granger is back on the dating market. Harry Potter star Emma Watson recently split from, her long-term boyfriend.
Hello! Magazine.com reported that the actress’s work schedule has affected their relationship after several years together.
Will Adamowicz was born in the United States. and is the son of a millionaire. The pair met in 2011 when they transferred from Brown University to Oxford.
A representative for Watson told The Mirror: “Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch.”
Watson appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show in 2012, explaining the difference between dating British and American men.
“Usually in the whole courting situation [in England], I’m used to being first of all, ignored for the first two months of the ritual,” said the actress. “And then maybe they’ll acknowledge my presence. Then, they’ll probably be a little mean to me. And then, maybe we’ll, you know…whatever.”
“Then I arrive in America,” she said. “And I remember a few nights into Brown [University], this guy just being like, ‘I like you. You’re great. Let’s go on a date. Let’s do it.’”
“They’re very like open and very straight-forward – but they wear flip-flops and I don’t know if I like that,” said Watson.
