Elizabeth Rohm worked alongside Jennifer Lawrence during the filming of American Hustle. Rohm described this experience as nothing less than “intimidating.” The film takes the Abscam scandal that made up a lot of the 1970’s and 80’s and turns it into a drama.
Lawrence plays her role well, charging it with some of her natural charm.
In an interview with Parade, Rohm unpacks her opinion of her co-star.
Rohm said: “She’s an old soul. She has such a command of herself, such maturity and power, that it’s intoxicating to work with her.”
Seeing the cast work together is an amazing experience—this is not your typical holiday blockbuster. Lawrence, Rohm, and the rest of the cast bring history to life.
For their outstanding abilities, the cast will be given the Ensemble Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival later this year.
