The White Queen Sequel In The Works

Good news for The White Queen fans! Starz is developing a sequel to the drama series that debuted in 2013, but without the involvement of the BBC.

In August last year, it was revealed that The White Queen would not return, as it was always known to be a one off series. All of that has now changed with Starz CEO Chris Albrecht announcing the news at the Television Critics Association press tour.
“We’re working on looking at story, an no, BBC won’t be a part of it,” tells Albrecht. “We’re looking at the show from a creative point of view. We’re certainly interested in the sequel to White Queen. It did very well for us.”
Meaning while The White Queen is nominated for numerous awards at this weekend’s Golden Globes.
