After the Golden Globes on 12 January, award season is officially under way, and that means the highly anticipated Oscars are around the corner.
That being said, this morning (16 January) the nominations were announced at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills by none other than Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president
Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
As always, the nominations were mostly as predicted with a few surprises thrown in there.
