ABC President Promises Grey’s Anatomy Will Continue For “Many Years”

The hit ABC show Grey’s Anatomy isn’t going anywhere other than forward, anytime soon. In a recent interview with E News, Paul Lee (ABC president) stated that the show would continue for “many years to come”. While we certainly don’t expect forerunners like Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo to stick around forever, the show has managed to maintain popularity and audience despite the shocking announcement that longtime cast member Sandra Oh was leaving at the end of this season.

There has been no official announcement at this moment about the show being picked up for an eleventh season at this time.

Currently in it’s tenth year, the show is about to pass another classic medical show we all know and love, M*A*S*H, which ended with eleven seasons. Who knows, maybe in ten years everyone will still be talking about Grey’s Anatomy like they do M*A*S*H.
