Several celebrities flocked to Las Vegas for residencies during their recent tours. However none of them came close to Britney Spears, whose “Piece of Me” show outsold Celine Dion, Elton John, Shania Twain, and Rod Stewart.
Reports and recent history are showing that Spears’ show is the third highest-selling residency to date. This is compared to Dion’s residency, beginning in 2011, and John’s from 2009.
Spears’ most recent album, Britney Jean, got a nice addition while on tour in Vegas. The singer released a set of remixes for her song “It Should Be Easy,” but regrets to inform fans that it will be a club-only release.
Spears’ residency is slated to run for two years, with four shows already finished! Tickets will be on sale through September 2014. If you can’t make it out for the show, don’t worry! You can watch the video of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” from her residency show below
