Yes you heard that right, all you Cumbercollectives, like myself, can jump for joy. Your beloved Benedict Cumberbatch is set to star in a new thriller Blood Mountain. Altitude Film Sales will present the film to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin and UTA Independent Film Group has received North American rights.
Blood Mountain tells the story of an independent military contractor whose team is ambushed during a raid. His entire team is killed forcing him to take the world’s most wanted terrorist through treacherous terrain to bring him to justice. This causes him to fight for his life in more ways than one while facing enemies and natural hazards.
Brooklyn Weaver of Energy Entertainment and Rachel Green of Derby Street Films are producing the film with executive producer Shaun Redrick. The film is set to start photography in Morocco this April and no estimated release date is set.
