Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s autopsy is inconclusive, according to a February 5 report from the New York City Medical Examiner’s office.
Hoffman’s body, which was found in his Manhattan apartment with 50 bags of heroin on February 2, will undergo additional toxicology tests. However, it is unclear when the results of these tests will be released.
New York City police have made arrests in regards to the actor’s death, including three men and one woman.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman has admitted to addiction problems in the past, seeking help in 2013 for issues with heroin abuse.
There will be a private funeral held in New York City for family and close friends, according to a rep for the late actor. Also, another memorial service is in the works for later this month.
