Percy Jackson and True Detective star, Alexandra Daddario, has landed a lead role in New Line’s upcoming movie, San Andreas.
According to Deadline, Daddario will star alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the movie about a pilot (Johnson) who has to rescue his daughter (Daddario) after a catastrophic earthquake rips through California.
San Andreas will be directed by Brad Peyton, known for the Journey To The Center Of The Earth movies.
Daddario has received a lot of praise for her performance in True Detective and we can only assume this is the beginning of a very successful career for the young actress!
Be sure to mark your calendars, because San Andreas is expected to be released June 2015!!
