Which will you choose, faction or blood? In a world where the overall motto is “Faction Before Blood,” Beatrice “Tris” Prior found herself in a tough position in the first installment of the series, Divergent.

Now, the sequel, Insurgent, will be released–and everyone’s choosing a side. The factions are beginning to crumble, and Tris finds herself in the middle of a war ready to boil over.

Red Wagon Entertainment announced the release of Summit’s  Insurgent earlier this week. Production will begin in Chicago this May, with a projected March 20, 2015 release date.

Stars Shailene Woodly (Tris) and Ansel Elgort (Caleb) may have to find the nearest vortex manipulator, though, as they will be expected to help promote their roles in The Fault in Our Stars at about the same time. The adaptation of John Green’s young adult novel is set to hit theaters June 6, 2014.

While Summit has announced a release date for the final installment of the series, Allegiant (March 18, 2016), it has yet to find a director for the sequel project. They assure us that their screenwriter is hard at work.

Neil Burger will not return to continue Tris’ journey due to the amount of work he has spent finishing production on Divergent.

Divergent stars Woodly as Tris; Theo James as Tobias “Four” Eaton; and Kate Winslet as Jeanine Matthews. With the final trailer releasing earlier this week, we can expect Divergent to hit theaters March 21, 2014.

Which faction will you choose?
