Dylan Farrow “Won’t Be Silenced,” Responds To Woody Allen Op-Ed

For those who don’t know, Woody Allen spoke out against the sexual assault allegations his step daughter, Dylan Farrow, leveled at him earlier this month.
Allen wrote a lengthy op-ed in the New York Times on Friday denying ever touching Dylan. He powerfully blames Dylan’s mother, Mia Farrow, for poisoning his image in the eyes of his step daughter. Allen said Dylan was a “vulnerable, stressed out” seven year old and Mia Farrow took advantage of that. The filmmaker claims he was very close with Dylan, but not Ronan, because Mia never let him get close with his son from the moment he was born.
The filmmaker even wrote that Mia Farrow’s older son, Moses, defended Allen. Moses told People it was their mother who brain washed them to go against their dad because she was upset that Allen pursued a relationship with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.
Dylan Farrow took Allen’s denials and turned them on their heads. She claims it was not her mother who reported her assault, but a pediatrician.
Dylan has repeatedly said how grateful she is for the “outpouring” support from survivors and countless others. She says she doesn’t want the truth to be buried and she “won’t be silenced.” After 21 years, why is Dylan suddenly ready to come out with these allegations?
