If you were paying attention to Olympic news out of Sochi this weekend, you might have seen that a US bobsledder, Johnny Quinn, locked himself in a hotel bathroom. Quinn, who had no phone with him, had to do his best Kool-Aid Man impression and smash his way through the door.
Yesterday, it happened again, only this time, in a Sochi elevator.
This time, Quinn and his teammates, David Cripps and Nick Cunningham were riding in a Sochi elevator when the doors wouldn’t open. The guys had a laugh and of course took photos. After all, if they didn’t, no one would have believed them. The bobsledder with the penchant for getting stuck in places he shouldn’t get stuck in posted the pics on Twitter for all to see.
Quinn will be competing in the four-man bobsleigh event along with teammates at the Olympic games in Sochi on February, 22, 2014. Hopefully he will be able to stay clear of entrapment until then.
