You thought Frozen was the only snow-related Disney news you would see, didn’t you? Well, some very creative students at the Michigan Technological University used the icy weather to creatively bring some beloved Disney films to life.
The students embraced the cold and took part in the ice sculpture competition, which is a part of the university’s Winter Carnival. The theme of this year’s competition was “Nostalgic Films from Childhood Days Come to Life in Frosty Ways”.
The winning team, Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, brought a scene from Beauty and the Beast to life. The sculpture took a team of twenty students several weeks to complete, and the result is pretty magical.
