Calling fellow WWE fans! We have some news about this year’s WrestleMania.
The WWE has officially announced that wrestling legend Hulk Hogan will host WrestleMania 30 on April 6th at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
“We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE. It’s fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network,” WWE Chairman Vince McMahon said.
As for the Hulkster himself, he is thrilled to be back:
“Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family. I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha you gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?”
Hogan’s wrestling legend started in 1984 when he defeated The Iron Sheik and became WWE Champion. This event started a pop culture phenomenon known as “Hulkamania”, which helped bring WWE to international attention with Hogan’s appearances on MTV, his own animated series and a WrestleMania III main event against Andre the Giant.
He is a six-time WWE Champion, WrestleMania icon, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 by none other than Sylvester Stallone.
He hasn’t been at a WWE event since 2007, but according to Richard Gray, Hogan will return on next Monday’s episode of Raw:

WrestleMania 30 will air live on PPV on April 6th, with Batista as the main event (opponent to be announced).
