Cassandra Clare’s fans have yet another series to look forward to! It has been revealed that she will pen another trilogy entitled The Last Hours.
The series will be set in Edwardian London and Paris, and will “focus on the children of the characters from Clare’s prequel trilogy The Infernal Devices,” according to Hypable.com.
The collection of best-selling series’ began with Clare’s bestselling series The Mortal Instruments. The first book, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, was turned into a film that starred Lilly Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower as the lead characters. The sixth and final book in this series, City of Heavenly Fire, is set for release on May 27th. After that, the spin-off series about fan favourite Magnus Bane, entitled The Bane Chronicles, will be released in physical form in either November or December.
Currently, Clare is set to release yet another sequel/prequel to The Mortal Instruments, entitled The Dark Artifices with the first book Lady Midnight due for release in 2015; she has said that she intends to write an fifth series in the Shadow hunter universe.
