Australian Breakfast: Coffee, Eggs and Python Versus Crocodile

Strangely enough, this is in no way related to a new SyFy Original Movie.

Dislike creepy crawly things?  Here’s another reason to add to your list.  An Australian woman’s breakfast was interrupted Sunday morning when local canoeists pointed her attention to a python fighting a crocodile.

Resident Tiffany Corlis wasn’t counting on having a show with her meal, but she grabbed her camera and soon began documenting the fight.  In the end, the crocodile (which was only about 3ft long) lost the battle with the python.

After the crocodile gave up, the python began eating its meal.  The last photo in a series of photos taken by Corlis shows the stretched python laying out on the ground with a crocodile-shaped food baby.

So if you’re planning a trip to Australia soon, be sure to either have your camera on your person at all times, or be ready to eat breakfast inside.
