With such a rich history, the Street Fighter franchise has a very deep well of playable characters. The most recent trailer for Ultra Street Fighter 4 gives users a peek at its new add-ons. Players will be able to choose between various iterations of characters from Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, and Ultra Street Fighter 4 characters.
Among the add-ons that will distinguish this game from previous variations, Ultra Street Fighter 4 will include online trading and 3 vs. 3 fighting modes. Additionally, the game will make it easy for the user to upload gameplay videos directly to Youtube.
Making its debut in 1987, the Street Fighter game began as an arcade game where players would train Ryu for a martial arts tournament. Creators Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto couldn’t have dreamed of such longevity and success for their beloved game back then, but almost 30 years later, the franchise is still going strong.
Ultra Street Fighter 4 will first be available in Japanese arcades come April, after that it will be released for Xbox 360, PS4, and PC before the 2014 EVO event.
