A special delivery found its way to the Dolby theater during the 85th Academy Awards on Sunday night. Talk show host and Oscar host, Ellen Degeneres, ordered pizza for the Oscar audience!
Hollywood A-listers didn’t even hesitate to grab a piece, including Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Jared Leto, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, and Jennifer Lawrence. But the real star was the delivery man. Was he an actual pizza delivery man or just an actor?
Edgar Martirosyan is an actual pizza delivery man at Big Mama’s and Papa’s, home of the World’s Largest Pizza. Ellen invited him on the extremely amusing Ellen Degeneres Show on Monday. He said he got a reward: serving the woman of his dreams, Julia Roberts.
But the comedic TV host reached behind her coach to get Pharrell’s infamous hat. Ellen told Edgar she passed around the singer’s hat and collected $600 cash from the stars. The electrifying host whipped out $400 in cash from her pocket and gave it to the now famous delivery guy.
DeGeneres sure is generous!
Monday’s episode also broke the record for highest-rated in the 11-year old series.
