In a film world where internet streaming such as Netflix is becoming increasingly popular, Disney knew it had to step it up. That’s exactly what they have done.
Disney has made a first-of-its-kind agreement with Dish Network to stream their content, including ABC and ESPN, on a streaming-only service similar to Netflix. A service like this will definitely make Dish Network competitive in the pay-TV business.
Currently, Dish Network offers all TV channels as well as recording and on demand content through their app so customers can take their TV anywhere.
Could this be the first of many streaming deals to come? Netflix lovers rejoice!
