The Backstreet Boys are back, but not in a preferable way.

The group is suing former manager Lou Pearlman for over $3.4 million that they claim they are entitled to, 15 years after firing him.

According to RadarOnline, the boys are expected in court on March 24th, where a judge will decide whether the $3,451,456.04 has to be paid by Pearlman.

The band filed documents stating that the aforementioned amount has to be paid in accordance with an original contract with their old manager, adding to the bankruptcy case against Pearlman.

That is not all though; the Backstreet Boys have also asked the judge to apply a further $87,728.58 to cover the legal expenses paid for fighting this case for so many years.

Pearlman and his Bankruptcy Trustee are not allowing the case to be won easily, as expected, as they have filed an objection to the claims.

The Trustee argued that the comprehensive review that would be necessary with this accusation would take too long to carry out, and that the court has not been provided with “backup information to allow the Trustee to confirm valid claims for fees and costs”.
