When you feel bad about your spelling mistakes remember this, even the President of the United States makes ’em!

President Barack Obama was giving a speech at the White House for the Women of Soul tribute on Thursday March 6, when he introduced the wonderful Aretha Franklin by making a reference to her one and only “RESPECT.”

But that’s not the problem!

Apparently the President forgot to add ALL the letters required for the word when he said:
“When Aretha first told us what R-S-P-E-C-T meant to her, she had no idea it would become a rallying cry for African Americans and women and anyone else who felt marginalized because of what they looked like, who they loved. They wanted some respect.”

The audience responded to his mistake with a LOUD laugh, which the President didn’t seem to know its reason! I don’t know which one is more hilarious, this or Travolta’s Adele Dazeem!!
