It’s sometimes not a good idea to tweet during commercial breaks, especially when your guest is comedian Chelsea Handler. Exiting CNN host Piers Morgan learned that the hard way.
Offended by the fact that Piers described her latest as book “tawdry” and that he preferred tweeting instead of talking to her during the commercial break, Handler openly criticized him when she went back on air. “I mean you can’t even pay attention for 60 seconds. You’re a terrible interviewer.”
Maybe Morgan defending himself by saying that she wasn’t keeping his attention was not the best way to fight back?
