With the first season of True Detective coming to end last night on HBO, the speculation has already begun on what we might see in the show’s second season.
Because we know for sure that the two leads are Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, the majority of the season two curiosities revolve around who the “big two” replacing them will be, so naturally Jimmy Kimmel got exclusive access to a sneak peak of True Detective season two:

In the spoof video, Kimmel and Seth Rogen step into the roles of Mart and Rust respectively, and do their best to recreate all the hits of the first season. From recanting their past stories, sharing philosophical ideologies, and their vicious brawl, they covered all the talking points we’ve learned to love over the past two months.
In the immortal words of Seth Rogen Rust Cole: “Any man who sets his compass for true north, finds himself heading south…by southwest.”
