Gleeks, no need to panic quite yet, but rumor has it the lovely Naya Rivera may be leaving Glee.
So the main question is, are the rumors true?
Rivera herself opened the panicked flood gates when she tweeted the following:

Which could mean so many things, right?!
And Lea Michele hasn’t been helping the rumors, while out promoting the 100th episode of Glee she has quite frequently left Rivera’s name out of the New York storylines.
Michele has frequently mentioned storylines with some other members: “It’s New York now…” Lea told E!. “So it’s me and Chris Colfer and Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet and Kevin McHale.”
A source close to the show recently spilled the beans to E! News. The source confirmed that Rivera will be absent from a minimum of two episodes this season.
Have no fear though; the plans are to have Rivera return before season 5 ends continuing as a series regular. We just won’t get the pleasure of seeing her face every episode.
To be honest, this isn’t too different from what Gleeks are used to, since the show has such a large cast.
The main question is, will Rivera be returning for the sixth and final season?
Good news is, Gleeks should know by June 30th at the latest, which is the determined date to find out what cast has been finalized to return for the final season.
Brad Falchuck seems to have in mind who will be returning.
“We do know exactly who is coming over and what the storylines will be,” he said of season six.”
Seems to me they already know who will be returning! While Falchuck would not expand on the who, what, or where, he did have one final comment to describe season 6: “Comeback.”
Don’t worry for now, because you will not only get to see Rivera next week, but you also get to see some of your favorite original cast members–Heather Morris, Kristen Chenoweth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dianna Agron, and many more!
So don’t panic quite yet, and enjoy the upcoming episodes that we know Naya Rivera is on for sure.
