USA Today reports that a third person, Sandra Le, has died from injuries sustained from a drunk driver plowing through a crowd at the annual music festival in Austin.

Le was attending the festival with friends when, according to police, Rashad Owens, 21, in an attempt to flee, crashed through a barricade erected to close the downtown street to vehicle traffic. Owens was driving drunk, with an alcohol blood level of  .0114, significantly above the legal Texas limit of 0.08.

Le, an Austin resident originally from Pass Christian, Miss., is the incident’s third victim. Jamie West, 27, of Austin, and Steven Craenmehr, 35, of Amsterdam were killed on scene. Twenty-two were injured; seven remain hospitalized, with one currently still in critical condition.

Owens remains in jail on $3 million bond and is facing capital murder charges, which in Texas makes him eligible for the death penalty.

Le died with her family by her side. “I’m just… hurting for adjectives right now,” said Stuart Gates, her brother-in-law of Hattiesburg, Miss. “We’ve lost someone who knew how to live life and knew how to make people happy.”

This was the 28th year of the SXSW festival. Ms. Le was 26.
