Here’s a first look at the return of Shawn Hunter and the original Mr. and Mrs. Matthews. The Boy Meets World characters are set to return in new spin-off Girl Meets World. Ben Savage posted the photo above on Instagram today, as did Disney Channel PR, and of course, Boy Meets World fans couldn’t be more excited.
I’m guessing everyone is gathered around the table for Christmas based on the decorations on the wall, but hopefully all will be explained when we start seeing much more of the beloved 90s characters.
If that’s not enough for you, earlier this week we also got a glimpse of the return of Lee Norris as the loveable but quirky Stuart Minkus.
No official date has been released so far, but Girl Meets World is expected to premiere this summer on the Disney Channel.
