Reese Witherspoon To Produce Movie Adaptation of New Trilogy “The Outliers”

Reese Witherspoon is a very busy woman, getting ready to produce an adaption of The Outliers.

The actress/filmmaker has teamed up with Lionsgate to bring Kimberly Mccreight’s fantasy trilogy to the big screen, according to Variety.

The first book, which is set to be released sometime next year, is about a young woman whose friend vanishes, only to reappear with a group of strange people who call themselves The Outliers. This group claims that they are capable of harnessing the power of human intuition, but when our heroine joins them, she soon ends up not only on the run, but also with her life at stake.

Reese Witherspoon will also be seen in Devil’s Knot, The Good Lie, and Inherent Vice.

Nothing has been confirmed as to whether or not Witherspoon will appear in The Outliers.

She is also a producer on the film Gone Girl.
